What have your dreams been telling you lately?
And when I say “dreams” I mean both the subconscious and the hopeful kind. Many of the planetary placements of last week are still relevant, but now, we’ll have Mars in Taurus (where he’ll stay until July 20th).
This energy is a little stodgy and stubborn. Mars is considered in “detriment” in this sign; the fixed, earthy energy of Taurus doesn’t let him move with as much speed and intensity as he prefers.
But that doesn’t mean he can’t function at all. Instead, the planet of action and conflict is encouraged to work with the Taurean energy of consistency and groundedness. Working methodically, with our eyes on the prize and delineated with a step-by-step spreadsheet, is the way to go.
Where does “Etheric Realms” fit into all of this? Well, if you aren’t feeling it (“it” being the goal you want), it’s gonna be more difficult to follow through. Your body, with all its desires, fears, and every emotion in between, has so much to tell you. If you’re feeling iffy (or icky!) about something, gotta investigate that.
So again, what’s going on with your dreams?
As a concept, “Etheric Realms” carries a softness and subtlety. These aren’t hard truths that we can easily measure. (Saturn is still in Pisces, remember?) Instead, it exists in layers that are best felt when we allow ourselves to feel its sensations. Those little indicators of ease or tension or worry, that, when taken in summation, give us a nuanced picture of where we’re at.
Think: an impressionist painting that becomes clearer only when you step away (Renoir, Monet, Cassatt, Degas, etc).
Whatever you’re driven towards achieving or obtaining right now will benefit from making sure the other elements in the space are complementary, not contradictory.
Move slowly and with intention, but don’t get too myopic about it.
It’s worth noting that this card corresponds with “The Moon” in the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Beautiful and mysterious, the moon moves quickly from sign to sign. At the beginning of this week, she’s forming a supportive sextile with the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. Then, by Sunday, those bonds will be even stronger as a trine.
Take this week to allow the Moon to reveal what it is you truly dream of. You don’t have to push and prod. You can [and should] make your task lists and itineraries, but leave a little room for mystery.
