Tonight’s full moon is about learning what “sense of security” actually feels like for you, in your body, in your spirit.
It is not a “deduction of security.” While the logical mind and everything it observes should be honored, you do a disservice to your growth when you allow it to weigh more than what your physical being has been informing you.
If all factors look good on paper but you spend your days on high alert, depressed, stressed, or resentful, does that really make you feel “secure”?
The moon will be full in the sign of Aries, serving as a footnote to the last six months (when the moon was new in Aries) and as a bookend to the Libra/Aries series of eclipses that have been happening since April of 2023.
For all of us, we’ve been challenged and confronted with what it means to be ourselves in our relationships. Which people make you feel more like yourself? Which spaces allow you to explore how that’s defined and how that’s received?
And where do you feel spread thin and high strung?
Given that this is a supermoon, with the luminary appearing bigger and brighter than usual… you have a chance to really peer into these subjects.
And once you do, you’ll have a better understanding about what you need to make what you’ve been dreaming about into a reality.
What have you been wanting to do and who has proven to be on your side to make that happen?
Even though this moon’s ruler, Mars, is in fall in the sign of Cancer, it’s in mutual reception with the moon. They can easily see each other. Mars understands that the Moon is in his home (one of them), and the Moon understands he’s in hers. However, they also bring some conflict to the fore. Even though they’re casting enough light to one another, this light allows them to peer into what they’ve both been uncertain about.
It’s not the abrasive flashlight-in-the-darkness kind of illumination… it’s more like awkward overhead lighting in a bathroom at the mall.
And is that something you want to stay under? Don’t you wanna at least move around and find something that’ll be more flattering?
This is also exacerbated by Venus in Scorpio, a sign where she’s considered “in detriment,” so she doesn’t have all the resources she needs to look and feel her best. But don’t worry, she’ll be moving out of this sign soon enough (tomorrow!). Once she does, you’ll be grateful that you gave yourself a head-start on the legwork needed for her good graces to bless you.
Some questions to consider:
What does the person who accepts Venus’ assistance look and act like? How can you close the gap between that person/persona and who you are today?
What does that person do when they first wake up?
How does that person talk to and about themselves?
Is that person kind to themselves?
(I hope they are. I think they’re already great as they are now!)
This supermoon isn’t necessarily the most restorative one, but it can be a refreshing one.
